Thanksgiving Recovery

For those who celebrate it I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday!

Including me there where 7 people munching down on a 20lb butterball Turkey with all the fixings. The turkey came out so tender when my uncle went to slice it the whole rib cage just pulled out. Every thing was tasty, and it was nice to have some friends over for dinner to. One of them brought over CoD: Black Ops and had a blast playing into the night.

Today was just really recovery from the overeating of the day before, it seems no one had any self control at that table last night lol. I did manage to to root my LG Ally today but besides for cleaning up not much mlse.

Time Drain

Fallout New Vegas man Fallout New Vegas

All my spare time has been going to this game, unlike Fallout 3 it doesn't break my focus by crashing every 5 minutes making me realize how much time has gone by. I find the game pretty damn awesome, wondering the Nevada wastes, taking out large groups of fiends, blowing all your caps at the casinos. The whole game just feels more refined then FO3, while I find that the graphics are nearly identical it seems like they fixed a lot of the "under the hood" stuff. Much less crashing (Not a single crash yet!), runs smoother, better companion management, V.A.T.S seems to be more responsive, the reputation system. One thing I did notice it had less "Post-Apocalyptic" feel to it then FO3, but it seems to fit the spirit of the area if that makes any sense. I haven't been playing on hardcore mode so I cant really comment on it. Music wise I liked FO3 much more, but again it seems appropriate for that Vegas theme. I would love to see FO3 updated with all the under the hood and game play tweaks implemented in New Vegas.

So yea I am still around, not good at reviews, and if you liked FO3 you will probably like New Vegas.

A Post!

My word, it's been 7 days since I had any time to pay attention to my blog! Every thing around me is just a bit chaotic. Within in the past week both of my fathers vehicles decided to throw a curve ball at us.

First the 03' Kia Spectra's brakes just stop working. Hit the brake pedal, it slams to the floor and you keep going. Finally got around to it today, and it turns out the rear passenger side wheel cylinder was gushing fluid. Pick up a new one since they are cheap, and bam same thing happens. Exchanged it, and same damn thing.

And the 94' S-10 Blazer's fuel pump seems to have died. My mother took it down to the deli and right after she went over the 2nd speed bump in our community it stalled. She the proceeded to try and cost the rest of the way home but the last hill proved to much. Actually got it home by hooking our tilt trailer up to my van then strapping the blazer to the back of it with 2 ratchet straps. Basically using the trailer as a buffer, as I didn't really feel comfortable tying it right to the back of the van. It went smoother then expected.

Also currently clearing out the old garage and getting all the tools to the new place, damn there is a ton of them. My dad and I still have to get our motorcycles over here before the snow starts coming, becouse once it does we are going to have limited access to the old house.

tl:dr
No time, cars suck, dangerously towed something, still moving.
