Odds & Ends

So, I like collecting odd, cool, and useless things. I also like showing people these things. And it just so happens that I have a blog that that seems to be a free for all of what ever I feel like posting.
So yea the next few posts will probably focus on that.

For Odds & Ends part 1 I present what ever the hell this thing is:

I have honestly no idea what this thing is, I have had people tell me is part of a old PA system, Stage Lighting  Controller, and the main control unit to a time machine I have yet to invent. The only reason I have it is it was free and DEM SWITCHES AND KNOBS! I am not really sure what I can do with it, and it may be passed on to other person that can use it or has a apparent switch & knob fetish like I, before the move.

I would love to hear what you guys think it is, or some ideas on what to do with it.

Also thanks for the "Get Well" comments and advice they are much appreciated. Popped a Mucinex D and it cleared the congestion right up, seems like it's the only thing that works for me. Just a bit floaty with a slight sore throat now.

  6. If there aren't any manufacturer or identifying labels anywhere on it, it may be a homebrew device for a very specific home application (studio lighting, projector, etc). I say that because of the dimmer switches along the bottom edge - they look like pretty standard interior-grade sort of thing.

  9. I think Michael Casspir has it right. It looks like a standard prototyping box with added bells and whistles.

Might I suggest you anonymously put it in a brown bag and leave it at an airport or train terminal?
